Merseyside Police gave a young boy a guard of honour as he left hospital this week. Four-year-old Hari Jones, who has a condition which means the muscles he uses to breathe and swallow do not work, has recently spent 14 months in hospital. Knowing that he was a fan of the emergency services, Merseyside Police, along with hospital workers and members of the public, were all too happy to honour him as he left the hospital and welcome him back home – they even made him an honorary child police officer! This heart-warming act of kindness will be sure to bring a tear to your eye!
